Focus Justification

What makes this important and worthy of focus and what does the data / information / observations tell me?

I am interested to see how the use of a linear approach to teaching Maths workshops benefits students in these areas.

My class has a (relatively) low mean Stanine in Maths (Y5 - 4.7, Y6 - 4.1).
