What will I need to do?

I plan to do research about dogs in schools - as well as hospitals, libraries and retirement homes.  

I understand that there is a reason why our Board of Trustees has made a clear policy about animals in the playground. I would like to learn how schools in New Zealand and overseas are able to allow some animals. They would have to manage the risk and vet the animals in some way first.

If I am able to get permission to bring my dog into the classroom, I will endeavour to collect anecdotal evidence of the benefits to student attitudes and their learning.
